Order of St. Renata

Of the various Holy Orders have existed in Estemor, the Order of Saint Renata has gained more power than any of them. It rose to prominence in the 720s when they were granted land in the Principality of Dullac by a Count looking for a solution to the Orcs that had been raiding his holdings. With new leadership appointed by the nobility, the Knights' began to bolster their martial prowess by fortifying the outlying villages along the coast. 
In more recent times, the order has began to shift its focus away from Orcs and towards a less material threat. As its leadership became more religious, it gradually began to view the greenskins as demons of even less standing than Elves and Dwarves. This invited radical reinterpretations of Saintly gospel, with many esoteric rites being created in order to prepare for the advent of new, ethereal threats.
Now these Demonhunters roam across all of Estemor, investigating claims of monstrous entities that bear no connection to the Old Gods.
