Lucius Artois was raised by his mother (Marcia Al Artois) and father (Dios) on their estate in the tranquil fields of the mainland Realms. Starting from a young age he was trained by his father in the ways of combat from the basic martial exercises, to militaristic leadership and strategy. His father Dios, was a lifetime friend of the Consul of the Northern Realms, and was anointed his position of Lord of Blades. In the years prior to the great exodus, Dios was presumed dead after responding to an assault by supposed Esorian settlers on prominent figure of the Senate. That same night several other senators died of similar occurrences. Because of the long known friendship between he and Lucius' father, the king decided "their would be no other greater choice of trust" though his uses for Lucius would later be found out to be more than would meet the eye.
Years pass and the Great War follows with a large battle that takes place for sake-hold of a southern keep. This resulted in the defeat of the Esorians with the retreat of their armies, but the death of the Northern Realms' High-King, and Lucius. This however would not be the end of this tragic hero's path...
Following his reanimation at the hands of Aedan, Lucius finds the ruin and the reuse of his childhood home at the hands of the fanatic religious cult, the Praxis Flame, he seeks vengeance. During his pursuit takes upon his party an elf named, Nalitic, and others who help him uncover the source of this spreading foulry and pluck the weeds. Upon unveiling the leadership of the entirety of the Praxis to be his once thought-dead' sister, Maria Artois; now known by the masses as "First Vicar" Saint Maria. After finding out that her ailment of the The Scourge, Lucius is reintroduced to an old friend, Ciaran. Working from the shadows as the driving force of the religious cult and its messiah to bring upon a better tomorrow. Offering a hand in their new forged Empire to encompass all of Escara, Lucius cannot accept after all of this and must take his avenging justice against his childhood friend. This battle pits two pair of siblings against one another. (although the Payne's unknowing) Lucius, Evelyn, (Beastial) Maria, and Ciaran duke it out climaxing as the Evelyn and Ciaran take a go only to finally realize their bondship. This moment is cut short as Evelyn is stabbed through her back by the beast-like Maria. Lucius watches as his love flies through the air and rushes to her side. In touching moments, Ciaran can only solemnly watch from before him his sister is ripped away in a suto-flashback of his mother too ripped away. As Maria approaches him, Ciaran strikes out with the anger that he could not use before to save his mother on the beast standing in front of him, mortally wounded Maria. In reflecting movement Maria bats Ciaran with ease and stumbles back falling as she bleeds out. Ciaran then gets up and slumps away.
Lucius walks over and solemnly finishes of his sister looking into the deformed eyes and traces after Ciaran. Having been also mortally injured Ciaran does not reach far and Lucius follows the blood trail to see Ciaran standing off an overlook. In the following conversation Ciaran claims to follow Dios' ideas for a better world but realizes this was not the way. Beaten and tired Lucius stumbles forward dragging along his sword and readies his swing after bracing himself on the blade for a moment or two before making his attempt to end his long sought nemesis before falling in pained expression.
In the moments following Lucius falls beaten and battered clutching at his chest. The scourge is beginning to set through and his vision starts to fade. But before he can turn a knife is stabbed through his back and the familiar face of the "thought" friend Nalitic is seen as the one who placed it, ending the first portion of Lucius' long path.
In the many months to come Lucius would be enslaved by the masters of the Empire to which the Northern Realms were in fierce combat.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Trained from a young age by the skills of a south-eastern father, Lucius gained much skill and knowledge through his understanding of the fluidity of swordsmanship. Becoming a soldier was easy and he excelled wherever the Realm needed him during his years. These attributes created the finest warrior the eastern hemisphere had ever seen... Almost. When the Esorian Empire attacked Blackpool Lucius loses his life trying to defend the defenseless King. In his death, Lucius succumbs to the Scourge which is only satiated by Aedan's chance effort of enacting a ritual of old, only somewhat translated as "Embify". The two conditions fight over the physical and mental portions of Lucius' brain, causing outbursts of beastly rage with spouting flames and or hemorrhages.
Body Features
Light mocha, slightly covered by hair whilst underneath rittled with scars from his fair share of warfare. Scars illuminate with a fiery glow as an effect his Embered status causing touch to be heated. In his chest, especially, lies the final dealt blow by the commanding General of the Esorian offence, Vekwen, is the origin of the residing heat and glow as a circular hole.
Facial Features
Strong roman nose with thick eyebrows to match his full short-trimmed beard. Mostly recognized by the scar over his left eye where he nearly lost it.
Physical quirks
Right handed mainly but has been trained to become ambidextrous, Tall stature with nearly perfect posture.
Apparel & Accessories
His armor consists of a adorned Legion uniform traced with fur along the shoulder and trim of his pauldrons his colors holden a black hue as his corinthian helmet fashioned with due same mind as the rest of his armor was unique with a skull-like structure crossen with a mane.

Motivation
Seeing the corruption and destruction of the world around him taking the lives of his family and friends, Lucius wants nothing more to see the fighting stop. Though in his journey he will eventually lose himself to that very conflict he wished to negate
Virtues & Personality perks
Caring and passionate, Lucius hides his personality beneath his hardened attitude holds a great heart for each and all. Through actions of the world he is burned time and time again where he thought his heart lay true. This had led him to have attachment issues and furthermore sink into his isolation. Where he does to make up for in metal fortitude; however, Lord Lucius is unmatched for his pure strength and cunning in battle. Years of training and constant battle in his service to the Kingdoms has payed off with him becoming of Omunox's greatest combatants.
Vices & Personality flaws
As previously stated, Lucius holds a inner resentment for not being able to help his father and with the later betrayal of his allies/father-figure leads him to have a growing trust issue and attachment problem. Issues of rage and anger boil beneath his calm complexion and if were not for his ailment would remain such. But as his contraction of "the scourge" animalistic behavior and berserk tendencies often take force blinding him of friend and foe.
