Session 10

General Summary

Miz'ri's Company, guided by Alesha, made their way to an artist who was looking for adventurers to paint. He offered them 50 gold to pose for him, and 25 gold for killing the monster for them to pose with. The monster he decided would look best with the group was a manticore. Miz'ri was able to talk him up to 100 gold per person for both the manticore and posing.
Meanwhile, Alesha made for the Unicorn's Horn to ask them about the best way of fighting a manticore. Ira, told her that manticores were very poisonous and offered Alesha 500 gold for the tip of its tail. To aid her in their fight, Ira MacMillan (the owner) sold her a golden feather that would summon a bird capable carrying vast weights and traveling long distances. Alesha had to go in debt to Ira, but walked away with the token. Ira also sold her a Cloak of Many Fashions.
After speaking to the artist, the party travelled to the hom of Harrus Brightforge, the smith that has mastered both Dwarven and Elven smithing techniques. He gave them enough information to identify his daughter, and told them that if they brought her back alive he would forge them one item of their choice from any material his forge can handle free of charge. Alistaire examined the mass grave of the people that died trying to get young Iris, and found that they were tied to his father's organization.
The party then went to check on the manor that they had acquired from paladin Edgeworth. The place was in disrepair, and will require some work before it is habitable. Inside the library they met a baby silver dragon named Ezzet. The young dragon was convinced by Alistaire to allow Milja to attempt to heal his ruined wing. Her attempt was unsuccessful. The dragon was brought food by Alesha, which she acquired using her golden feather token. Ezzet ate himself into a food coma and fell asleep on a mattress acquired by Milja. Miz'ri's Company flew to the meeting of Arras Thunderfoot's crew atop the back of the massive roc summoned by Alesha's magic token.
