Gelon Sea

Gelon Sea is the most common name for the massive body of water at the heart of Byanos both geographically, an culturally. The Gelon Sea serves as an important source of food, water, and trade for people all over the continent. It borders several Demenian Prefectures but lies wholly within the Empire.

The Gelon Sea is entirely freshwater, being fed from more than a dozen rivers, including the Great River, which nearly splits the continent in half. This, of course, means the Gelon Sea is technically a vast lake.
