Authenian Civil Committee

The Authenian Civil Committee is one of the four committees that make up the Authenian Government. They manage civil services such as road maintainence, funding public spaces, teaching the youth history and literature and providing public entertainment.
Due to the funding and the amount of work done by the ACC, is has an incredibly large number of employees, especially when compared to some of the other committees.

Structure

Any actions of major importance to the Republic performed by the ACC must first be approved by the Authenian Senate.
The Authenian Civil Committee is overseen by Director Antreas Fountas, who is known for his generous nature and apathy towards the wealthy.

Culture

Those within the ACC are often driven by a desire to help others, as the main purpose of this committee is to improve the wellbeing of all of the Authenian Republic's citizens. Working for the ACC is often seen as proof that you are at least not driven by greed or lust for coin, but that you instead have values.

Public Agenda

The Authenian Civil Committee is driven by the desire to improve the lives of all Authenian citizens, by improving trade routes, funding public services such as education, healthcare and social housing, providing public entertainment through the form of plays and philosophical lectures, maintaining public spaces, conserving national parks and ensuring safe and fair working conditions for all in Authenian territory.
One of the biggest concerns facing the ACC is making certain that every citizen has access to food and water. The ACC has made large investments in both the agricultural industry and in the construction of large aqueducts and artifical lakes.
The ACC intends to make sure that every child within the Republic will have the opportunity to learn how to read and write, as well as educate them on classic literature and the history of Eregost.

Almost half of all Authenian taxes go to the ACC, meaning that they are never short on funding, or work.
