Phoenix Project

"In essence, the purpose of Project Phoenix is exactly as the name implies; returning our fallen soldiers to life, stronger and better than ever before, so that they might continue to serve our empire with distinction."
Project Phoenix was a Gregoreicher initiative funded by Schloss Industries and headed by renowned automaton pioneer Ezri Steinhertz. The purpose of the project was to develop advanced warmeks capable of harboring a resurrected soul, along with its memories and skillsets. Five "Phoenix units" were developed to varying degrees of success, but the program was shut down after the disappearance of Steinhertz, as well as a reported "major incident" resulting in the death of multiple Phoenixes. With the existence of the project revealed to the public, Schloss Industries allowed the surviving Phoenixes to join the public, under the condition that they do not interact with each other or reveal any secrets of the project.
