Dance of the sore feet
The Dance of the Sore feet is a tradition that happens during the Summer Solstice celebration. Young men dance on pointy stones to prove their strength and to be recognized as adults.
Execution
The young men will dance in an area, usually a circle, full of little pointy stones. They have to dance until the end of the music, proving their valor, strength and determination.
Components and tools
Small pointy stones, enough to create pain, but not to pierce or cut too deep.
Participants
The leader of the village, the musicians and the young men.
Observance
Every year, in Summer solstice.
