Gormond
Gormond is the largest town in the Steppes of Serlantus and is a seat for a Colonel of Law and Peace, Obsidian of the Rain, in the Pardwell Hold. A descendant of the noble family that once rules Gormond still resides in the town, Verdell Pardwell, a human male of 47 years of age.
Gormond has many notable shops that are worth stopping in at. The first stop in any shopping trip should be the smithy known as the Ore Galore. It is a stereotypical soot covered building that is ran by the twin Goliath brothers Gakin Bearstalker Kelo and Zarhak Deerleaper Kelo, both aged 34. Gakin is the better smith of the two, but his brother, Zarhak, surpasses him in skill as a tattooist. The brothers are known to look for individuals who wish to seek precious ores that lay in difficult locations to reach.
The Jaded Elixir, an alchemy shop ran by Byron Goldfeather, a human male of 71 years old. The Goldfeather family has ran the shop for nearly four hundred years. Currently, the shop is hosting a human magical researcher from the Eltenweiss Empire, Daimler Bauman.
The general store of Gormond, Gart's Leather, has a rather misleading name but offers far more than leather. Much like the name, shop is ran by a grumpy halfling by the name of Gart Grettleburg and is 41 years of age.
The Hartfill Mill ran by the Hartfill siblings of Sarah and Seth Hartfill runs a logging business that extends well beyond Gormond.
When it comes to lodging Gormond has two rather different options to offer. The Waiting Loaf Tavern is a more upscale option that is quiet and is the gathering place of the elite of Gormond. The Waiting Loaf Tavern is ran by Trixi and Arlo Runeshade, humans of ages 19 and 64.
The Next Donkey is the meeting place of the working individuals of Gormond. It is a cheaper option and is often overlooked by travelers who have a bit of coin. The Next Donkey is ran by Velkik Morgar, a dragonborn male of 38 years of age.
