The Blood Moon Festival

The Blood Moon Festival is one of the largest of four festivals of the year and a large celebration. The festival does however have a mixed feeling/impact depending on the day it falls as part of the belief and celebration is a requirement of blood. If it falls on any "normal" day The Hunters go on a large hunt to draw that blood and bring back a feast that the city partakes in at night; however if it falls on one of the other three holidays it is seen as a bad omen and that the blood to be drawn will be theirs. Many laugh this off as superstition though as nothing bad has happened for a very long time.

History

The Blood Moon Festival also known as the Hunter Moon celebration happens once a year at different times due to the workings of the Sun and Neutral Moon. It is debated when it actuall started but a majority state it started in the first year of the founding of LakePass.
