As part of the celebrations of the Queen's Coronation, House Caravielle held a Masquerade Ball at their summer manor in Tourelle. During the ball, a number of incidents occurred at the manse including the theft of a portrait, a scandal involving the wife of a prominent nobleman and a merchant banker, the burglary of a large sum of money and the disappearance of an artifact from the mansion's subterranean vault. In the aftermath of the event, House Caravielle's majordomo, Tarius Belve, vanished and is still missing, presumed dead by foul play. The manor incidents caused a riotous uproar in Tourelle and the temporary lockdown of the city by the Municipal Guard.
