House de Lis

One of the most powerful and influential Great Houses of Valderia . This House grew very wealthy through trade, diplomacy and their connections with the Royal family.
Tragically, a sudden, overnight reversal of fortunes spelt disaster for the ill-fated House. The patriarch of the household, Stragran de Lis was accused of high treason and vanished the same night the entire family and their household were slaughtered in their home by unknown forces.
The horrific "De Lis Massacre", coming on the eve of the coronation of Queen Jalenna Seraphyne uth Valderos I, sent shockwaves through Valderian society and drew the queen herself into the subsequent investigation, to no avail.
With such a shocking mystery at hand, rumours and conspiracy theories spread quickly. Amongst the many whispered tales, one held a seed of truth....the survival of one of the members of the family, Osborn de Lis .
