Her parents are very timid and shy and often fill Fluttershys head with scary thoughts which made her inscure and scared and also very timid.
Becuase her parents are so gentle she often had to look after them and her little brother, this stressed her out a lot and forced her to look after her family, especially her little brother Zephyr who is the only pony she has confidence to be assertive to.
Fluttershy has terrible stage fright and finds it difficult o fly when she is distressed in some way, she was often bullied becuase of this.
She is afraid of heights and scary monsters, she got her fear of heights from when she fell off Cloudsdale when she was a filly during rainbow dashs race against her bullies.
