Tralkan
Geography
The continent of of Tralkan is one of vast deserts and deep wind swept canyons. The northwestern section of the continent is filled with the Endless Wastes, a large dry desert that includes the flat barren flats and shifting sand dunes. The Ashen peaks mark the edge of the continent and loom menacingly. their shadows hinting at salvation from the endless heat but offering no comfort. The east side however holds large mountains and deep canyons. The Desolate peaks and the Dragonclaws range travel along the southern edge of the continent and loop around near the eastern edge. Rock mesas dot the landscape and little water can be found. The center of the continent is the only place where life can easily take hold. The life-giving river Nahir and its tributaries runs from the Xeraxes mountains in the south and empties out into the Mercurian sea in the north. Along this river vegetation and small forests can grow. A very little traveled area know as Candarioan's fall lies at the eastern tip of the landmass and some say it is where Candarian himself fell after being defeated by the gods.
