Aldail (High Elf)
The Elven extreme of the Emporians. Aldails have long been recognized as arrogant and pompous fools by many of the other races. Aldails uphold traditions unlike any other race. Aldails also beat the Emporians in the race to be the most bureaucratic. The levels of red tape in city government is unparalleled.

Art & Architecture
Aldail Architecture is highly regarded as very shiny, very clean and loaded with points, often assumed to be inline with their pointy ears.
Birth & Baptismal Rites
Aldails have a variety of baptismal rites. Information exchanges with Aldail Record Keepers have shown that there is at least three main baptismal rites, one for each slab of hierarchy. The Elites get their children cleansed in holy oils during very special ceremonies which will often include the extended family, close friends and friends of the family
The middle class will strive to get the holy oils but some are not so fortunate. In lieu of oil, water is substituted in. The water is usually boiled and purified via alchemy and then handed off to a priest or priestess to be made holy. During a private session, usually involving the extended family, the child(ren) is/are baptized
The Lower/Peasantry class will use ashes and water. The night before, the father and mother will fetch dead olive branches or grape vines and burn them. The ashes are collected in a bowl and safely stored until the ceremony. The kid will then have the ashes dumped on his head and then submerged into water for a few seconds.
Contrary to popular belief, Aldails do not use separate churches for the different social classes. Financial restrictions in the early years prevented the possibility of this concept.

Ideals
Gender Ideals
Aldails are the most restrictive when it comes to genders, especially in the Elite society and somewhat in the middle class.
The Elites of the Aldail society rarely do much of anything beyond eating, drinking and chatting. Most elites are heads of businesses doing mostly managerial and number crunching but many have hired specialized accountants to take that job in their stead. Men are the only ones seen doing any work and what work they do is often minimal due to their amassed wealth. Women of the elites have almost no role outside of husbandry and gossiping. Unlike Emporians, they don't use wet nurses. Elite mothers will still raise and feed children similarly to the lower classes but will teach them matters of politics, accounting and other Premier subjects
The Middle class do many of the better off jobs within the Aldail economy. Men will take to the markets

Relationship Ideals
The Relationships among the Aldails, like all other aspects of their society, vary largely on the amount of wealth involved. It's natural for greed to exist among any if not all of the living people on Akora
High/Elite Class: Preservation of Wealth and Social standing. Most marriages and relationships are focused around this concept which is seemingly embedded within the minds of this classification of Aldails. Friendships, marriages and other associations are often done for the sake of maintaining and uplifting the family name
"Kings and Queens of the pointy eared clans, lords of law and the most obnoxious bunch you'll ever meet. Who in hell sets laws on how wars are fought?!" ~Warlord Ygmir, 1E872
"Aldails set the foundations for the Human unification Act of 2E22. They play of the role of necessity and do it mockingly. Losing them would be a blow to very foundation of government." ~Emperor Titus Aulus Atillius Albinus, 2E640
"Rumors say they are the reason magic exists, yet day by day, more and more of them fade away. I can't imagine a world without a pompous neighbor, it'd feel... Wrong." ~Niriilin Elder Darro, 5E20
