Tief Prodigium

Tief was born to the leader of one of the 6 great tribes. He became de facto leader of the tribe at the age of 17 when his chieftain father fell ill and passed away in the night. 6 years later the leaders of the great tribes met to discuss the founding of a permanent city. Each tribe would be assigned a role in maintaining the city. Tief managed to convince the other chieftains that his tribe would be taking over the boring and unimportant task of bureaucratic city functions. This ultimately gave Tief significant power to affect events in Twinbrooks.
This position is what allowed Tief to be the first to know a lot of important information including major discoveries and plans of other factions. The only faction leader who seemed to have problems with the amount of control Tief had was Gnorman Willump who was always opposed to the consolidation of power. Approximately 10 years into the founding of Twinbrooks Blackpool was discovered by Gorm Toldrin. Tief took an interest in this mysterious body of water and so he decided to travel to it. The pool emanated power and Tief was bewitched. Alone, Tief dropped to his knees and drank from the dark black pool. Power coursed through him, his veins began to glow, and his eyes went black.
Tief kept the secrets of Blackpool a secret from the other factions but over the next 3 years he sent his own people to partake in the powerful liquid. Once all of his faction had gained the power of the Blackpool, Tief decided it was time to act. He called the city for an announcement in the main forum and declared himself a new god on earth and that he would be seizing control of the city of Twinbrooks. As he proclaimed this he flew over the crowd of people in a display of his new divinity. The other faction leaders looked on with unease but it was only Gnorman who took his people in the night to flee Twinbrooks new tyrannical leader.
Under Tief's new leadership the other faction leaders still retained control of their own people and their roles in society. Very little was actually changed in how the government functioned as Tief was already in control of all city administration. Gorm was still allowed to explore but all discoveries were to be reported to Tief. This status went on uninterrupted for 7 years until Gorm betrayed Tief's trust. He discovered 6 mysterious gems in the far north and attempted to hide them from Tief. This led to the expulsion of the explorers while Tief used his 4 new gems to forge a glorious crown.
Tief is eventually betrayed by Leon and Thorin. While Tief and his tieflings were powerful, they were incredibly outnumbered, even with Ozghul's men. His crown was destroyed in the battle and only 2 gems were recovered. Tief was then brought before the public forum and publicly burned at the stake.
