Basic Information

Anatomy

Striders are deer-like robots that can run up to 45 mph. They gain their power from solar panels on their back which allows them to run indefinitely during the day unless someone is mounted upon them.

Genetics and Reproduction

All striders are identical and reproduce by consuming raw materials and processing them into another strider

Growth Rate & Stages

Newborn striders are about half the size of normal striders and grow as they consume materials.

Ecology and Habitats

Striders live all across the world of Enuf and were originally designed for terraforming.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Striders operate off a combination of sonar and camera detection. They are very squeamish and will flee at the first sight of danger

Conservation Status

Hunted nearly to extinction, humans and elves found that they could breed striders by leaving them in stables filled with raw materials. The strider will consume materials and eventually spit out a second, identical strider.
