Champion of the Titans Playground

For the past two centuries, the BloodedJaw Pit Guild has held epic battles in the Titans Playground. This massive arena is a bottomless natural pit in the center of the city. It is rumored the city of Do'Toh itself was built around the pit intended to be a great arena. With sharp jagged stone protrusions and giant boulders throughout the trench, the area allows for all fighting styles. Surrounding the pit are stone slabs that rise above and around to act as stands for spectating. The stadium is said to be a gift from a time before, and to fight within earns respect, and winning earns renown. Anyone can enter, but they must start at the bottom. To reach the top and claim the title of the fighting grounds, you must go through all champions and take their place. There are six ranking champions at any given time in the arena. Many humans, Dragonborn, and various other races have claimed seats in this ranking. Still, only two have ever held the highest position, one being a massive human comparable to the build of most goliaths and one being a Golden Dragonborn. There is heavy drinking and betting on almost every fight. The fights are rarely to the death, but there are ways to prevent a complete death when they reach that point. Law and order within the city are often non-existent, and most keep peace in fear of destruction so battling in the arena in any state is a hazardous risk. If you are to die and are not savable, there is a good chance no one will help you. There is plenty of gold and prizes to be won along with the glory. Champions get free lodging and drink most anywhere within the city and better deals on most skilled services. There is no doubt fighters across Cruyan know about and strive to one day fight in the arena.
