History of Holl

The village of Holl was founded by refuges from a fire giant incursion far to the south. The founders were at sea for more than 3 months searching for a safe haven.

The ruling Jarl of Holl (Aslak Tostisson) subdues 4 neighboring villages (Osta, Hita, Lofot, Brekka) into one Jarldom through military might.

The neighboring Jarldom of Drangar launched a surprise attack on the Jarldom in spring of this year against Osta.

The Jarl of Holl has subdued 5 of the 6 villages (Buland, Leira, Grimsey, Hafr, Skaney) in the Jarldom of Drangar and begins preparations to attack Drangar itself.

Birger Gangestad slays Jarl Erik Frode in ritual combat. The combat started as a difference of opinion, and escalated to heated words. Birger then challenged the Jarl. The combat was long, and both men were matched evenly, but Birger Gangestad eventually won and slew the old Jarl.
