Devil's Reach
The Devil's Reach, a name that has become a staple of a kind fantasy story. The vessel was constructed around the year 2325.
It was intended to be a testing ship for a plethora of experimental technologies, as well as serve as a giant monument to the NATO military power. This behemoth of a ship on a scale never seen on the battlefield before, wielding 3 experimental Mass Drives, one of them being able to destroy the largest of battleships, but never before installed on a mobile void craft, and this beast has 3 of them.
Large batteries of anti-SSC weapons and its own more than the generous supply of SSCs, combined with its size made it a beast unbeatable even by an entire fleet of lesser void craft since it could outgun, outrange, and outsurvive any other combat ship ever created. Even the recently constructed MS. Donnager is dwarfed by its greatness and power.
As previously mentioned, the ship housed multiple experimental technologies, one of them being a controversial attempt to make a spike drive of 5.5 rating work. The initial testing proved its usefulness, greatly speeding up the space travel. Sadly, on its supposed last testing, something went wrong, and the entire ship disappeared with all 1234 souls unknown, only 3 months after its construction has finished.
To this day there are children stories of the ship flying somewhere in the great unknown, fighting evil aliens, pirates, and looking for treasure.
The concept was scrapped after the loss of the craft, and the Mass Drives were used on a specialized "cruiser destroyers" instead.
