Signora Pomedora Aris Martes (a.k.a. Contessina)
Daughter and only child of Visconte Bartolo Selene Martes, Pomedora has spent half her life at the royal court in Torindach during autumn and winter, where her father vied for power with other lords. She was born when her parents had already been married for some time and had suffered several miscarriages. Her mother died in another miscarriage several years after her death and with her father's new bride proving to be barren she remains the nominal heir, though this is hardly recognized by the Visconte himself. He only used this to have her claim the title of Viscount of Trafinn from an ambitious brother of his so the rule of the region and family would stay firmly in his grasp.
Without him noticing it, she has grown into a woman of adamant will and quick wits, who very effectively employs a façade of vanity and shallowness. And has started to take control of her viscountcy from under him. When a young nobleman (Emmanuel von Loh) started courting her she seized the opportunity and easily seduced him, using his ambitions for her own goals. She believes she would easily be able to manipulate him and therefore aids him in any way she can in his plot to overthrow her father.
