Jonker Emuel de Wiloh

Young adventurer sent along with a contingent of soldiers to Caeldun, using the call for help against the orcs raiding party as an excuse to gain more direct control over the village. He is charged to defeat the dragon they have heard rumours of in Nessborg, and try to see if the strangers know the location of Hidden harbour. He was sent by Bartolo Selene Martes as a fool's errand, the count does not expect him to succeed but simply wished to separate him from his daughter and hopes he never returns. Whether he lives or not is secondary to Lord Martes.
He hides quite well that he is a shifter, being a descendant from a werebear.

Family Ties

Son of Adele Nordgarin and Lucius de Wiloh.
His mother is from the female line of the extinct House Nordgar, who ruled Rimewatch some two generations before.
His father is from a cadet branch of House Wiloh, a minor family under the Woodcount of Alnerel. His grandfather Thegan Bernfir was son of Isabel Ashbridge a 3rd daughter of Griffith Ashbridge, who eloped with her cousin Arnold Bernfir. Bernfir was the son of Bernard Bernfir, born as Ashbridge, the first son of Aaron Ashbridge. Bernard was expelled from the family after contracting lycantrophy at a young age. Aaron Ashbridge then remarried and named his new son Griffith Ashbridge as heir.
His full coat of arms shows all these bloodlines, but it is not known even to him. Instead he uses a simplified version without charges that only hints at his heritage. In unifying these two claims, Emuel de Wiloh is in fact in a decent position to claim at least rule of Rimewatch, if not of all of Pendaire.
