The Kingdom of the Seven Valleys
(K7V)
Authorial Note
I am not a Bahai, and my understanding of the Bahai Faith is limited by my studies. While I envision the Free State of the Seven Valleys as a fictional future Bahai State, my work is fiction and takes many liberties. For a view of the Faith, I recommend
this youtube channel, as it has been fairly informative. Please understand my dipiction of this fictional state and religion as presented in my book not as a pridiction, but of an imaginative interplanetary future inspired by the real life faith, but not restricted by or representative of it.

Official Religion is Bahai, which has undergone much change since the Emergence, during which the Order of the Crimson Ark was founded to help effectuate the peaceful evacuation of Israel. An individual known as the Shahanshah, who claimed to fulfill a prophecy of Bahaullah, led the organization to found the Seven Valleys Community and a new Universal House of Justice on Mars, which became the Free State of the Seven Valleys and the Martian House of Justice, respectively. The launches were prepped during the time period of Ridvan in the year 2120, and were launched within a single 24 hour period, at least according to tradition. The Qiblih is located at the landing site of the Crimson Ark at the deepest part of the Valley of Poverty and Annihlation, where the Shahanshah was buried, and where the Bab and Bahuallah were reintered after it's conversion into a shrine.
The "Glass Rivers" at the base of the valleys hosts an innovative take on the habitation dome. Using high power air compressors, radiators from underground foundries, water pumps and filters, and the uniquely martian "Blue Obsidian", a high density glass, the Glass Rivers each mimic a freshwater enviroment suspended over residential zones, which are used to grow highly efficient air scrubbing and nutriant rich algaes, as well as serving as a tourist attraction.
At least two of the rivers include artifical beaches and coastal plants to allow them to serve as aviaries and recreational areas as well. One of the rivers features a salt water enviroment specifically for breeding sea animals for the aquarium at the Olympian Observatory.
By far, the toursim has proven to be the more profitable revenue source.
