Defences

X Corp. works with Kasei Rengo and The Free State of Tharsis to outfit security franchisees under the Erebus Security brand that have the authority to manage their own rates and keep their own regulations, but must follow franchise policies that protect general property rights, freedom of speech, freedom of movement, and the general right to self defense and self armament. Many communities eschew Erebus for cheaper local alternatives or self armament. X Corp supplies the Auxilia via Erebus to satisfy their obligation to tribute on behalf of Arcadia.

Districts

There are no formal subdivisions of Arcadia, as X Corp treats property owners in the area as potential customers and partners, whereas it treats renters as current customers to serve, and everyone regardless of property ownership as potential employees and investors.

Assets

X Corp through Axiom Orbital and Estrella owns and operates nearly all of XÆ and New Brownsville. Beyond this, it dominates the Homesteading market, though it does not have a monopoly in the industry. Various homesteaders have economic power in the handful of trade hubs like Green Valley and Eysley.
