History
After the shadow goddess Circe formed the Isles of Illenore, she felt that the Humans who she settled there did not possess the mysterious traits she desired in her children. Thus, she created the Miara.
The Miara are known to prowl the jungle regions of the many Islands of Illenore. They are a nomadic people that seldom stay in one spot. They're also competitive among their own people, so Miaran Civilization is not something that exists on its own.
They are masters of stealth, and are quick on their feet, but they lack physical strength behind their movements. Lightweight and slick, they can outmaneuver almost anything.
Variations
Traditional Miara: Traditional Miara (those who descend from the Island Jungle Miara of illenore) are about 5'6" in height, with more bright golden and white coats and black spots and stripes.
Winter Miara: The term "Winter Miara" refers to the Miara that later came to the Tundrane region. They are of slightly shorter height than most Traditional Miara and sport white and grey coats with black and dark grey spots/stripes.
Spring Miara: The term "Spring Miara" refers to the tribes of Miara that developed from those introduced to the Revali and Sylvane regions. They have more lighter tan coats, and usually sport darker grey spots or stripes.
Summer Miara: The term "Summer Miara" refers to the strain of Miara developed from those who were introduced to the Erodanian region. They sport black coats, and rarely sport spots or stripes.
Autumn Miara: Th term "Autumn Miara" refers to the strain of Miara that developed from those introduced to the Chthonian region. They sport darker tan and brown coats, and little to no black stripes and spots.
