Hemlock Splinter

Hemlock Splinter runs Splinter Wood Goods. His pieces are works of art...they appear delicate but last for generations and are made with thin pieces of wood. His skill is uncontested...his personality is difficult but put up with as no one can build like he can. He abhors small talk, hates having people in his shop, and is brusk to all. No one is sure if this is his personality, or a defense against the prejudices which Half Elves endure. He previously worked on a small island where his free thinking father and human monther lived; his works made their way to the capital and were seen by Prudence Fairbanks at the end of the trade wars, and she encouraged him to come to the merchantile and take over the carpenter shop, knowing his work would be perfect for a resource-strapped nation. Hemlock is taller than most humands, stockier than most elves, and will give only grunts of acknowledgement to customers. He has a pile of forms on his desk to fill out about what you want, he will read the form in front of you, then write on it and hand it back to you.
