Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Ariadne was born with a super-human strength. Even at a young age she was showing signs of abnormal muscular ability-lifting and carrying things twice her weight, pushing heavy objects with ease-and her strength only increased as she aged. Standing just under 6'0" Ariadne is tall for a woman. From her years of training, she is agile and muscular and can move quickly and efficiently, even while bearing heavy loads.

Body Features

She has short, extremely curly, red hair. It being culturally unacceptable for females to cut their hair, this feature only adds to Ariadne's oddity.

Identifying Characteristics

Ariadne's body is a living testimony to the brutality and abuse she experienced in the arena. She bears multiple scars on her arms and back and her left hand is missing several fingers. A large scar is evident on her left rib from a stab wound she received while fencing.

Apparel & Accessories

She dresses in a simple grey tunic and black leggings. She is often hooded and cloaked, but will go bare headed when necessary.

Specialized Equipment

Her excellent skill with sword and bow allows her to be well protected and she never walks about unarmed. Besides her sword, she carries concealed daggers.

Personal history

Ariadne was born to a poor, single mother, who died shortly after her fifth birthday. For the next two years she lived on the streets, until kidnapped by a traveling circus man, who exploited her extraordinary abilities for his monetary gain. Five years later, she was sold to a wealthy slave trader who forced her to labor in his world-renowned Hectus Arena. After ten years of abusive treatment, she escaped and disappeared into hiding.

Education

Ariadne gained around six years worth of training in sword fighting, archery, wrestling, and hand-to-hand combat.
