Heartlight

Heartlight is the all purpose business turned tech conglomerate quite literally towering over Elmwood Port from the center of the massive city. In some ways they're very suspicious, having their own massive brightly uniformed security force, being incredibly rich and powerful, and own much of the land and buildings in Elmwood. In others however they are very charitable and seem to be good to their employees as well. Made back in the 20s when Elmwood was just a tiny port town. Heartlight thrived on trying to bolster there little town into growth in change through various enterprises and business deals. Be it anywhere from Real Estate, to strange inventions, to maybe the not quite legal alcohol of the area. These days now that Elmwood is the sprawling metropolis that they wanted it to be it is rather odd that when asked what they actually DO a normal member of the city will probably just shrug their shoulders. Even the people who work at the building don't seem to know much outside the random data they've been asked to enter, and half of those numbers don't seem to relate at all to the numbers their peers have to input. There doesn't seem to be any more products around town actually labled with their name, but they don't seem to be running out of money either, so anyone's guess is as good as anyone else's. They are very aware of the supernatural community of Elmwood and often hire people to contain or destroy things when they pop up. Their CEO Aidan Jacob is rarely seen outside the tower and almost never comments to the media, but those hired to do more supernatural based jobs often say they were interviewed by him. The only recent comment the media was able to get several years ago was reportdedly something about there being "not enough time for this." The public whispers often about conspiricies ranging from a secret branch of the US government, spies from another country, or of course aliens and they will continue to whisper as long as we know nothing and as long as an occasional uniformed individual walks down the street.
