Ellahim

The One World

At the beginning of time, the Assahii created Ellahim from their magic, and populated it with the Ellahii, who in turn formed twelve kingdoms around the twelve sources of magic spread equally around the planet.

Geography

Ellahim was created from twelve sources of magic which can now be found on the planet's surface, placed equally spaced, such that, if connected with straight lines, they would form a perfect regular icosahedron. Around these sources, the Ellahii built kingdoms, using the geography created by the magic flowing through it to their advantage:
At the North pole of Ellahim is the source of light magic, on which the kingdom of Lojhim was built. Because of the light magic pulling on Ellahim's sun, it is always summer on the Northern hemisphere.
Consequently, the source of dark magic on the South pole and the kingdom of Savhim built upon it are in eternal winter. South of Lojhim, but still on the Northern hemisphere, is the source of water magic, which means the area is mostly flooded, but there are many islands on which the kingdom of Mikhim is built.
At the same latitude, bordering Mikhim in the East, is Naghim, the kingdom built on the source of thought magic, which is home to a library said to hold all of the world's knowledge.
East of Naghim is Jothim, formed by earth magic into a lifeless landscape of deserts and mountains.
Ferhim is even less welcoming, a kingdom built around a volcano, shaped by fire magic, East of Jothim.
The last kingdom on the Northern hemisphere is Nilhim, built around floating islands suspended by wind magic, with Ferhim to the West and Mikhim to the East.
Southeast of Nilhim and Southwest of Mikhim, is Vihim, a harsh, cold place said to drive people insane, and the location of the source of void magic.
To the East of Vihim, Southeast of Mikhim and Southwest of Naghim, there is Rekhim, a kingdom full of dangerous animals, fueled by blood magic.
Next to Rekhim is Deshim, the largest kingdom, built on a sprawling landscape of fields and forests, and the source of wood magic, sometimes called plant magic to distance it from the often feared blood magic.
Underneath the Eastern areas of Deshim lie the mines of Arhim, an industrial, mostly underground kingdom built on the source of steel magic.
Aro mages are hired all over Ellahim for construction projects, especially in Torhim, an isolationist city built inside a neverending storm generated by the source of storm magic, located on the Western end of Arhim.
Finally, between Nilhim to the North, Torhim in the West, Vihim in the East and Savhim in the South, there is an unclaimed neutral area.

Fauna & Flora

Like the Ellahii, all life on Ellahim is effected by the magic of the land, adapting to it and sometimes learning to use it. In addition, the blood magic of Rekhim helps animals to thrive, while the wood magic of Deshim supports plants and the void magic of Vihim kills all life over time.

Natural Resources

The primary natural resources of Ellahim are the different kinds of magic, but they also create additional resources in the different regions, such as the many metals that can be found in Arhim.
