History of The Vault

Indrid managed to escape briefly and made it as far as Virginia where he attempted to ingratiate himself with the humans he admired so much by helping them. Unfortunately the humans confused correlation with causation and took his presence as a bad omen when sightings seemed to line up with various disasters. Lilith was able to track him down and convince him to return to the vault after a year, though his his legacy endures in the mythology of The Mothman.
