Saratus

According to the scriptures within The Book of Rom, Saratus is vast void. A merciless, lightless expanse of manifest destruction and nothingness. Sapping and consuming the life force of any living creature exposed to its energies, it corrodes and disintegrates material objects to rubble, then dust, and then nothing at all. It is here, that Ephurus is said to be banished.

How one travels to Saratus is still unknown, and the evil and mad that desire to witness such a place continue to prod at the cosmic veil. It is rumored, however, that Saratus itself is alive, and some even claim to have seen it in their nightmares. They describe endless strands of nothing, blacker than complete darkness. An absolute abyss.
