The Birth of the Goblinoids
King Orcanthalas gathered his high Priests and the most powerful mages and told them to come up with a way to defeat their enemies after suffering a huge loss to their warriors.
The mages researched their libraries of spells and the Priests prayed to all of their deities. After weeks of preparation and with the help of the most knowledgeable alchemists, the ritual was ready. The remaining warriors were brought into the Kings Hall, they were given an elixir to drink. Soon the chanting and spell casting began. The room began to glow while electricity cracked in the air above. Bright green and purple light danced around everyone and then engulfed the room. Suddenly it erupted through the land, hurling everyone to the ground. Their bodies began crack and break, everyone screaming in pain and then all went black and quiet.
When everyone came to, they had all been transformed into tall, muscled beast like creatures with varying colored skin from light green to dark brown and large protruding lower tusks. However, it did not stop with those present in the hall. Throughout the city, all the inhabitants had changed. Lynseknob Gobloresh, the leader of the Gnomes and all his people were transformed into small green people with brightly colored hair and large pointed ears. Kobin Oldresh and his Halflings were changed into small dragon-like people. There was even a large contingent of Moon Elves visiting from another city, led by General Lynis Hobbgarden, that had changed into tall, muscled hairy beings with the strength of 10 elves.
Plot points/Scenes
Human Kingdom ruled by King Thadeus Epsodine is trying to remove the elves from Indelwil so that he can use all the natural resources. The Elven King, King Orcanthalas sends for help from anyone that holds the elven nations in high regard. Many druids, mages and clerics joined King Orcanthalas in his struggle. The combination of all the different magics; Divine, Elemental and Astral, made the spell go in many different ways then intended.
