Order of the Anvil
Prince Omer loved nothing more than going into battle along side of his clansmen. During the Battle of the Five Armies, in which the King's clan was at war with two kingdoms of Elves and two Human strongholds, his forces were nearly wiped out and were forced to retreat. While falling back, he and his main squad were separated from the rest of the company during an ambush by some Elven archers.
Late in the night the group came to an encampment of humanoid bulls that he later learned were a tribe of Minotaurs. The chief, Hinetrin Steelhand, offered the Dwarves refuge until morning. The next morning, the chief ordered a feast for his guests and the two leaders talked all day about their kingdoms and past battles. Not long into the day, the two were having a drinking contest to see who could outlast the other. Neither could best the other and this impressed them both. By the end of the feast the chief offered to teach the young Prince and his squad the fighting styles of his clan. Although he felt the urgency to make it back home to his own clan, he could not pass up this opportunity so he sent a runner to give his council assurance that they were safe and would be home as soon as was possible.
Over the course of the next three months, the Dwarves trained night and day. They learned how to use every weapon type; hand held, ranged and siege. They learned stealth, using the environment to their advantage and how to command a naval fleet.
At the end of the training, the chief gave each member of the Dwarves, as well as himself, tattoo's of a new symbol that united both clans.
