The lost last page from "Letters from Khalima", written down by King Arfan III, known as "the Mad" of Uxilon.

I've been having restless nights recently. Last time I was visited by The Lord of Khalima, his words ended up written down on a piece of paper thanks to my personal scribe, may the Gods bless him, who stayed up all night listening to the words that I spat in my slumber.
"The Dread of the Thorns will claim Uxilon; there's nothing you can do. Be a good king, be remembered; as the time of your kingdom is has yet to come". The Lord of the Flying City's powerful prophecies are always really vivid. The images where... terrifying. Blood ran amok the palace; people sacrificed in the name of The King of Thorns, a dark cloud over the continent. I ordered my most trusted men and women to find any mention about this entity, but, for now, nothing has come out from their expeditions. I'll make them look under every nook and cranny, not a single stone will be left unturned. Nothing will stop me from protecting my people, not even death, as I made some preparations with the help of Letharion, the arcane upstart; a very loyal servant and good friend of my dear heir.
No one else will know about this, lich-turning practices were prohibited centuries ago, and any books containing that knowledge were burned. Most. The Royal Library has hidden sections only known to the true heirs to the Uxilian Throne. Soon, I'll be turned into an archlich. My own magic will not be enough to complete the spell. Before that, I'll have my death staged and my body hid inside my mausoleum, hidden from all, where the ritual will be completed. Then, I'll roam the entire continent trying to find that "King of Thorns" and defeat him by any means necessary, even if half of Glissen has to be turned into cinders to achieve my objective.
Uxilon will live through the ages, I'll make sure of that.
