Personal history
Queen Aldith Tyler was born on the 3rd of the Month of Loara, 1459, in Drago Castle. She was the eldest child of two, and usually the most favoured. She was not a particularly well-known public figure before her coronation. Obviously, the public was aware of her existence, she was the crown princess of Erdantia, but she rarely appeared publicly, and kept the majority of her personal life private. Many lords had never seen her before her coronation in 1476, after her father's death earlier that year.
After her coronation, she made it clear that her immediate priority was the improvement of Erdantia's trade relations with the Duchy of Ober and Shadra, which indeed she focused on for the first decade of her reign, before increased militarisation from the Syndalan Empire forced her to redirect her priorities.
Accomplishments & Achievements
While Aldith's reign was not particularly long when compared to those of both her predecessor and of her successor, she was able to accomplish a number of important feats in the time she was given. She both suggested and commissioned the National Scouts, vastly improving Erdantia's scouting abilities. She formed the Orlendian Pact and modernised Erdantia's military, preparing it for the Syndalan-Orlendian war. As part of this, she took over two unused islands off the coast of Syndal, creating the Eastern Colonies.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Aldith's primary motivation throughout much of her rule was to effectively respond to the Syndalan Empire's growing expansionism by improving Erdantia's military, ultimately preparing for the Syndalan-Orlendian War.
Social
Religious Views
Queen Aldith Tyler was known for practicing a fusion of Libran and traditional Erdantine beliefs, something unusual for an Erdantian ruler, which would typically be expected to practise solely Libran.
Social Aptitude
While as a rule of thumb Aldith preferred to keep to herself on most occasions, she was by no means a poor public speaker, and was known for moving speeches when she needed them.
