Peren

An ancient Drow Druid, he lives in seclusion in his sprawling estate, Peren's Paradise, nestled into the densely wooded foothills of the Little Easthorns outside Fallcrest City. A powerful Druid in his own right, he has retired from the world and settled into his enclave. He has a deep, unusually strong connection to the plants, animals, and earth itself in and around his retreat, even for a Druid.
Despite the extraordinary extravagancies he provides to the ultra-wealthy patrons of his abode, he has a deep and abiding disgust for those that seek material wealth to the detriment of the societal ecosystem they prey upon. He gouges those that pay for his services to the point of absurdity, funneling the money back into the surrounding communities through intermediaries, and providing business and commerce for the smaller, family owned and run operations that supply his work.
Few ever arrive asking to speak with him themselves, and he receives even fewer of those that ask as visitors. Along the most common paths to his home, he has placed a number of Druidic markers encouraging his brother and sister Druids to visit, although being their usual reclusive selves, such occasions are rarer still.
