Anatomy

Dwarves are humanoid Bi-peds. In regards to humans they are shorter and broader.

Genetics and Reproduction

Dwarfves differ slightly between the sexes, Both sexes are capable of growing luscious beards. Both have short stout bodies and are ferocious fighters. The differences between the sexes are not often spoken about among the Dwarfs are shall not be spoken about here.

Growth Rate & Stages

When a Dwarf is born they can expect the first baby fuzz of a beard around the third month. By age four a Dwarf might require a trim to be presentable.

Ecology and Habitats

Dwarves are naturally at home underground. Though it is common to see them above ground. A Dwarf who has decided to live above ground will often choose a first level dwelling.
Dwarfs that choose to stay underground, find themselves excelling in the environment. Their darkvision piercing the gloom while their stout nature pieces any mineral that may impede their goal.

Dietary Needs and Habits

The average dwarf's diet consist of hard-baked bread, meat, and fish.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

All dwarves have great vision in the dark. This makes them well suited to their Sub-terran kingdoms. It has been speculated that Dwarves have a sub-par hearing. Although this might just be a slight about their tendency to shout.
