Marut Statue

This huge statue of the Marut, a towering machine-monster with one large eyeball in the center of its upper body, stands erect in an open courtyard in Waterdeep. It is said that any deal or promise made in front of the statue must be upheld or the person who breaks it will die. There has been conclusive evidence that this is somehow true.
