Magical Ability Register
Purpose
The Magical Ability Register is a document created to monitor those with any magical abilities in order to better insure the safety of all the inhabitants of the Kingdom of Atherus. If those with abilities are monitored they will be less likely to use those abilities for criminal act and if they do they will be easier to apprehend.
Document Structure
Clauses
The document is has three parts,the identification of the person, the description of the ability, and the rules and regulations of all magic users, including the punishments for breaking said rules.
Caveats
Magic user will follow all rules and regulations, failing to do so they are to be subject to imprisonment, physical deterrents, or execution.
If persons above age of majority are caught unregistered, the magic user will be forced to register and sentenced to a risk assessment followed by jail or education.

Publication Status
All law officials may write a request to access these documents in order to uphold the law.
Legal status
In accordance of the Magical Safety Act, this document is valid in all of the Kingdom of Atherus.
Historical Details
Background
In reaction to the concerns about the growing population of people with magical abilities the King Gregorios put together the Magical Safety Act in the year 1239, requiring all people with Abilities to report to their local government official to register as a magic user.
Public Reaction
Majority of the public was pleased with the Kings ruling. The first year led 120 people to register.
Legacy
Once the law requiring registration was enacted a campaign hailing the new law and warning of the danger and evil magical abilities could have. The resulting fear led to neighbors,friends and family reporting suspected magic users to the local law. It has also been used for peoples personal vendettas, reporting your enemies.
