Personal history
Birth and Early Life
Heth's nickname, na ah Liht, can be translated to 'of the roadside' or 'born off of the road,' and is a joke among her parents. She was born literally on the side of a road, as her mother couldn't make it to a midwife in time, and Ahknans take the name of their birthplace as their second name. She spent her first couple of years traveling alongside her mother and father, who were working at the time to unite the tribal nations of the area in an alliance [see: The Ahknan Coalition]. Her older brother became her good friend, confidant, and sparring partner as they grew up, and her younger sister was a trusted consultant in all of her decisions.
Political Upbringing
Heth did not have a defined role within the hierarchy of the Coalition, as the organization was still in a mobius state. So, she learned all the skills that her father thought were fitting of a leader. She spoke every regional language and dialect available to her, as well as some Uny, and by age 20, she was a master of martial combat. She and her brother fought in battle in effort to defend members of the alliance from Unyctan threats.
Relationship with Mahkia
As her father aged, the government became more structured, and Heth was named his successor after the passing of her brother in battle. Due to Athan's close relationship to the magical healers of the Casca region, Heth grew up alongside the legendary Mahkia, and became a close personal friend of his. He acted as a sort of adviser for her once she took the throne after the death of her father, and helped her with foreign relations. In fact, she eventually came to consider him an uncle or a second father after the deaths of her parents. Upon his own death, Heth commemorated him and his influential family with a stone tablet, memorializing their names in what would later become the Rorak's palace.
Family Life and Death
Heth married at the age of 29 to a highly decorated Mojocki warrior she'd fought alongside named Bhakol na Kol. With him, she had three children: Aborah na Diham, Dadrhaki na Kol, and Telba na Diham, and developed a more organized structure to the government (which her daughter Aborah later solidified). Heth named her husband Fanrak, leader of the military, a tradition which became a legal title later on. In her final years, she focused on tightening the organization of the alliance, laying down a stronger foundation upon which to build a nation.
