Agriculture & Industry

In 1920, Rittermark was the second most productive country in the Eisholle per capita. The use of abundant Hydo-Uranesium power has made Rittermark the first electricity-trading nation. Rittermark's economy depended heavily on fishing, whaling, and seal trade. The economy is vulnerable to declining stocks and or drops in world prices for its main material exports: fish and fish products, whale oil production and refinement, seal farming, uranesium, and silver. Whaling in Rittermark relies heavily on Whaling, with an export share of 90% of all trade.   Until the 14th century, Rittermark was a poor country. Currently, it remains one of the most developed countries in the Eisholle. Strong economic growth had led Rittermark to be ranked first in the United Commonwealth of Eisholle (UCWE) report for 1900, although in 1920 its UCWE rating had fallen to 2nd place as a result of the epidemic crisis. Nevertheless, according to the Eisholle Economic Index (EEI) of 1920, Rittermark has the highest quality of life. Rittermark 's unemployment rate has declined consistently since the crisis, with 1.8% of the labor force being unemployed as of the 1st summer of 1925.
