Caliginous Nightmare Amayar (a.k.a. That ridicolous squid (by Senasha))

The creature once known as Amayar was a Kraken, a beast made by the gods from their own essence. A weapon wrought to destroy the primordials and to protect the world of the gods after the defeat of the primordials. Amayar, now better known as the Caliginous Nightmare was corrupted by the serpent Senasha after being lured into its clutches by the Athmerians allowing the serpent to gets its revenge on the Kraken and as a consequence even having the beast devour its creator.
Now bitter, cursed, and trapped the Caliginous Nightmare plots to get its revenge on the gods it sees as the ones that betrayed it. Dominating the minds of hundreds of undersea creatures to serve its corrupted will.

The Book of Betrayal: This tome details the history of Minmatir's betrayal, the gods' folly, and duplicitous nature towards their creations. This book contains rituals to create Merrow and seas spawn.
The Book of Wrath: The tome describes the usefulness of rage in the battle against those favored by the gods and contains instructions on how to create the Deep Rage potion.
The Book of Ascension: The foulest of the five books of the Caliginous Nightmare it meticulously catalogs how the Kraken devoured its creator and became more powerful for it, this tome contains a foul ritual where a follower of the Caliginous Nightmare devours a part of a celestial or a creature with celestial blood in it to ascend in a manner similar to Caliginous Nightmare.
The Book of Liberation: The unfinished volume that tells of how the Kraken is being slowly released by its faithful servants.
The Book of Torture: The secret volume kept in some long lost temple, guarded viciously by both the followers of the Caliginous Nightmare and by Senasha's choice monsters, this book contains the methods of torture both mental and physical to twist the god's creation against them.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

The largest abnormal factor of The Caliginous Nightmare is that it kept growing after undeath, feeding off Minmatar's corpse it increased in size, power and mastery over the seas.

Body Features

Sixteen long tentacles and three pincers serve as the creatures primary limbs and main distinguishing features of the creature.

Facial Features

The main difference or outstanding feature of the Caliginous Nightmare are the 6 eyes, four taken from the sea god Minmatir.

Special abilities

The telepathic pressure exuded by the Caliginous Nightmare is enough to make lesser creatures obey it instantly and force whole civilizations of lesser humanoids to do the same, it is likely that should a greater being remain for too long in its influence it could also succumb to the monstrous will.

Personal history

Amayar was created by Minmatir as a guardian of the seas and a worthy opponent to Senshasa, created during the war against the primordial the Kraken proved to be a powerful weapon being the most adept at slaying primordial alongside its divine patron. After the war, Amayar was sent to destroy the Athmerian Civilization. But to Amayar's and Minmatir's disgrace, they missed a crucial detail the vengeful and wicked serpent Senshasa who struck a deal with the Athmerians. The Athmerians baited Amayar into Senasha's clutches where the Kraken was lost from the gaze of the gods. When the Kraken reemerged it was twisted maddened and filled with feelings of betrayal and it thought that its creators and most importantly Minmatir the one she considered a brother at arms had abandoned and discarded it like a mere mortal, Senasha had stoked the arrogance and rage of the Kraken and now gleefully unleashed it against the gods favored creations: the elves.
Horrified Minmatir descended into the ocean and tried to reason with his creation, but there was no return for the maddened Kraken as it attacked its creator with newfound hatred. Initially, Minmatir stood bravely and definitely against the Kraken, but the god came to fear his own creation as in its unbridled rage the Kraken was a dreadful sight to behold. Minmatir summoned his paladins and his angels, but the beast of his own making had outgrown its creator in everything but followers, with its last dying breath Amayar called to anything that would listen Senasha just laughed and the gods looked on in scorn, but something else responded and even as Minmatir's trident struck true laying low the abomination it arose again this time with no blood pumping in its veins and no beat in its two hearts.
Now blessed with the unholy power of an undead world the creature once known as Amayar resumed its battle and this time its creator perished, but as the scorched tentacles choked the last life out of Minmatir he opened a chasm, the deepest on Eidamir and hurled himself and his creation in there to keep the abomination locked away so that to spare the other gods' creations. And to this day the Kraken is trapped in the deepest pit on Eidamir.
