Herenian
The Herenian people are sturdy folks. Descended from the Royal Triumvirate, they inhabit the southern coasts of Auiltun in what is known as the Herenian Lowlands. A people divided, just like the Aremeti and Karesian, they haven't had a real leader since the Royal Triumvirate. The Warring Lands includes the Herenian Lowlands, and as such, Herenian lords and ladies are involved in the bloody, petty wars that plague that part of Auiltun

Common Myths and Legends
The most popular legend is that of The Triumvirate Kingdoms that supposedly fell because of a great famine. This famine forced The Three kings who ruled the kingdoms together as council to act in a most drastic manner. Realizing that there were far to many people to feed, and that the different people of the kingdom would turn on those not like themselves. The Three turned to their people and led as many as was able into battle against one another. This battle, known as the Culling of the Triumvirate, saw very few survivors. And those that did survive would eventually settle in the Herenian lowlands among other places.
Ideals
Gender Ideals
Herenian people are rather utilitarian, if you can do a task, there is no reason to turn you away from it. Noble daughters recieve training in war just like the sons, and households tend to share the burden equally.
