Auiltun

The Undying wars take place on Auilthun, a generally temperate and largely settled continent. The four Kingdoms of Operath, Melfic, Naul Rahn and Aith Anur were among It's most prominent civilizations. Aith Anur now stands in ruins, most of its populace dead and turned to the Undying, a particulary scary and cunning race of undead.   South of the Alliance borders lie the Warring Kingdoms, so called due to the constant petty wars being waged between the minor lords and ladies and their many Baronies and Duchdoms .

Geography

Largely temperate, the northern half of the continent is home to large swathes of dense forests along the northern coast. Spreading downwards around the twin lakes of Anun and Hain, the formerly lush forest area of Hiltwood terminates into Wild Plains, that stretch for miles, intercrossed by smaller rivers and the large river of Welt. The river of Welt passes by the City of Weltmar as it snakes across the planes down from Lake Anun and terminates at the river delta upon the City of Nubina is built. There the City of Nubina rests in ruin, a bleak reminder to the Nul-Rahn kingdom that no amount of gold can save you from the undead.   Dissecting the entire continent is the Belian Mountains, a mighty mountain range whos many dwarven ramparts and fortifications were instrumental in stopping the second undead invasion and help end the Second Undying War. To its east, along the central eastern coast and along the myriad of rivers that run inland from it, lies the merchant kingdom of Nul-Rahn. To the west lies the planes and rolling hills of Melfic. Where the green stretches from coast to mountain, and large herds and flocks of cattle and sheep graze.   Furher south, the climate grows every so mcuh hotter, with wineyards and chattous dotting the green hills and light birch forests. Here lies the warring lands, where the undead haven't reached, where the conflict is between the living for the sake of power. Most of the south is shallow valleys and forests or fertile plains and hills.

Fauna & Flora

North of the Sacred Border, mostly death exist in its various forms. Undead in the shape of zombies, ghouls and skeletons of varius sizes and variety make out the bulk. But more terrifying things wander its dark forests and badland.   South of the border the wildlife is lush and varied. Around the central plains and mountains, boar, bears and moose are common game along with various deer and smaller game like rabbits and fowl. The peaks of Belias Mountains is home to the Mighty Bird known as the Roc, a symbol of freedom and commonly depicted on dwarven shields in the area.

Natural Resources

Auilthun is rich in most things from various agricultural yields such as grain and wheat, to various forms of livestocks. Most of its coastal cities have bustling trade and a thriving fishing community, with the landlocked cities mostly being located around lakes and rivers, using the continents ready access to freshwater as resource in itself. The dwarven kingdom of Operath lies in the middle of the continent and sits on most of the mining rights, using the rivers to provide everything from gold to iron.
