Ramidarl

Ramidarl, the dwarven capital of Heldan, is a magnificent city carved out of the inside of the mountains splitting upper and lower Heldan. The city while completely underground is a sight many will remember until death comes for them. Every building is carved into the sides of the massive cave that was mined out to create the city, with large stone bridges connecting the various walls to each other. Along the walls are many wide stairways carved into the stone to allow the people to got from one level to the next. In the center of the massive cave is a single pillar stretching from the bottom of the mountain to its peak, this pillar is where the king of Ramidarl resides.

Demographics

Ramidarl, being the dwarfish capitol of the region, is primarily inhabited by dwarves. This is the home that the dwarves built for themselves when hiding from the Giants and Dragons before the age of man, and have mostly stayed here ever since.

Government

Ramidarl is ruled solely by their king, who while struct and rather aggressive, has always made decisions that end up benefiting the people at the end of the day. Their king has the final say on all matters of the city, from legal and diplomatic matters, all the way to weather or not a business needs to be shut down simply because he does not like the owner.

Defences

While the city is mostly deffended naturally, being inside of a mountain and having its only entrance be at the top of the mountain. However Ramidarl does have an army, this army also acts as the local guard. There are always guards outside the entrance of the city, and should a threat approach, a guard will be sent into the city to get reinforcements to stop the threat from getting inside.

Infrastructure

Almost nothing in the city was built, instead the entire city was carved out. Because of this the entire city is made of stone. However the Dwarves have take the time to make their home visually pleasing, there are ornate carvings in the stone everywhere.
