Chiroptera
Chiroptera is a large underground city found in a remote cave system found under the Mountain of Rangon, the only non-volcanic high-altitude place which can be found in Eden.
Chiroptera itself is a very dark city with simple architecture and technology. The city itself is isolated from the outside world as the outside world as the cave system was sealed off around 200 years ago, when the first settlers came and arrived. It is unknown how the originals might have survived, however, current citizens in Chiroptera have developed along with their familiars, Bats a way to survive inside the caves with little-to-no outside help. The caves itself have a few large pools of water which after being boiled can be safely drank.
The main food-source in Chiroptera is a form of honey created by bees native to the caves, they consume and harvest parts of the rocks found in the walls and along with water can create a highly nutritious substance, the only downside, however, is the fact that these insects are incredibly aggressive and dangerous if disturbed. A way has been created to counterract this, however, although Chiroptera might be not advanced technologically, due to their Spark allowing them access to manipulating sound and vibrations, they can create incredibly symphonies which are used to calm the bees down so that harvest can be performed safely.
Citizens of Chiroptera are not blind, however they can see very little, due to being born in the darkness, they instead, like bats, use echolocation to identify their surroundings.
Not much more can be said about Chiroptera as it is a fairly simple and modest city, however this may change soon as attempts to break down the part of the cave sealed off are currently being made with little but significant success being made.
