The Skimmerang of Elias

A description of the favoured weapon, used and invented by Elias of Trehort. This boomerang-like object was useful in battle as it could curve after being thrown, bending around the trees of The Midland Forest with ease.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The handle is held in the dominant hand and is used to throw the Skimmerang. The thin blades rotate and help it fly and return to the user much like a boomerang.

Manufacturing process

First, two identical steel blades are forged. They must be identical in size, weight and balance so the Skimmerang flies in the way the user intends. Next, a wooden handle is made, curved like the corner of a normal boomerang. Two slits are cut into the ends of the wood in which the blades are inserted.

High significance in regards to history and rarity.

This item is completely and utterly unique. Not only did it belong to one of the first settlement leaders of Ecura, but it was of his own creation. In Ecura, weapons are a common commodity so while one sword may be unique in regards to history, but other swords exist. however there is only one Skimmerang in existence in all of Ecura.
