Evil

Evil is one of the four major cosmic powers and was created by Law. It is the personifcation of distrust, malevolence and animosity and shares the cosmic balance along with Good, Law and Chaos. Evil was created by Law along with Good when Law defined and structured its two conflicting and chaotic halves during the Sundering of Law. As opposed entitites Good and Evil were in constant struggle and trying to assert themselves in the cosmos. To this end Evil created the fiends, as agents of its cosmic will and to assault and defend against the forces of Good.
Along with Good, Law and Chaos it forms the foundation of the multiverse. Each cosmic power is bound to balance of power and wields only direct influence in its associated cosmic planes or more indirect influence through planar agents and conduits in the prime material planes. Of the four major cosmic powers, both Good and Evil have the largest amount and most active planar agents, followers and even worshippers amongst mortals and immortals.
