Mage Lord

One of the rulers of the world. These are the most powerful mages in the land. They rule by council. Each member is given a vote except for the Grand Mage Lord. His vote counts for 5% of the total votes, council size can vary, but no less then 3. The Grand Mage Lord is elected by popular vote from the council. In the rare event of a tie, the Grand Mage Lord is also the tie breaker.
It is a common held belief that the Mage Lords were the cause of the Great Cataclysm  .
