Session 2: A Simple Murder

General Summary

The group decides to pursue the murder, taking advantage of the trained scent of the Magebred hound coupled with the speed of their horses. During their travels through the desert they are waylaid by strange bugs and deal with the oppressing heat, but ultimately manage to make it to their destination: a small cave tucked away in the sands.
Inside of this cave, they are attacked by strange humanoid creatures: most of which appear to look like two goblins stitched together, while one seems to have strange tendrils coming off most of its skin. They take out most of the foes and are aided by a strange Tairnadal elf during the fray. A discussion after reveals that the elf is in fact the murderer and one with a particular intent: to lure Ailen out of the confines of the Fort in order to complete the story of Corren and Adelyn... a story only complete with some fratricide.
