The year is 986 YK and the nation of Galifar is in the grips of a civil war that has carried on for generations and split the kingdom into the Five Nations; now each of these nations vies for control over the kingdom of Galifar. Cyre, originally ruled by the Crown Princess Mishann and the heir to the thrown of Galifar, now finds itself in a precarious position. Mercenary forces have betrayed them and left them with two new war fronts in the form of Valenar and Darguun, while the sibling nations of Breland, Thrane, and Karrnath bite at the borders. Though their forces have been newly bolstered by the invention of the Warforged, the former crown jewel of Galifar is now tarnished and worn as desperation sets in more and more with each year.   It is time of war between family that has been torn asunder. It is a time of great invention and progress under the auspices of the Dragonmarked houses who grow wealthy off of the market of war. And it is a time of great heroes, who have a chance to carve themselves a future in this world.
